On Friday, 21st Dec, the former congress leader Sajjan Kumar’s plea seeking an extension on the deadline of 31st Dec was dismissed by the Delhi HC.
On 20th Dec, Sajjan Kumar had had sought time from court till jan 30th to surrender after being sentenced to imprisonment. The Delhi HC has convicted and awarded him life term “ till the remainder of his life” in a case related to the killing of 5 Sikhs in Nov 1984 Anti- Sikh riots. The order was imparted by Justice S. Murlidhar & Justice Vinod Goel.
