The Singapore High Court passed a Judgement against the Singh Brothers in the Daiichi case !!
Ranbaxy laboratory owners singh brothers “ Malvinder Singh and Shivinder Singh” lost 500 million against daiichi sankyo wherein the Singapore High Court
has dismissed the plea to stay a tribunal arbitration award in favor of the japanese Pharma giant Daiichi Sankyo.
The Singh Brothers have one month to file an appeal before the Singapore Supreme Court with regard to the judgement which is related to the concealment of information about the stake of shares sold to Daiichi by Ranbaxy. In 2016 the international arbitration center of Singapore had passed an order against the Singh brothers to pay the amount this amount of $ 500 million to the pharma giant. The same was also upheld by the Delhi HC in October in the parallel proceedings filed by the Pharma giant Daiichi Sankyo.
